I documented what I had to do to a set of Fentons to make them fit my 248.

Nice workmanship. How did you sight the amount that needed to be taken away from the inside of the ports? A gasket?

Patrick advertised his Fentons to fit a GMC, he shifted the cores to better fit the GMC's spacing, you still had to contend with the clamping. I made a spacer to fit the stock clamps on my '41 228".

Good fix, by God, if they dont make it (cheap), make it yourself! Put it on that Gimmie Suburban and blow out the countryside from Weatherford to Grand Prairie once a month!
