Working with the mill tonight. Made a mistake and got my thumb to close to moving parts. Got bit.Now have 2 stitches. One in the nail and one in the tip. A tooth put a nice slice right up the middle. Learned a bunch. Did not bleed like I thought it would. I consider myself VERY lucky. Tom

Tom, You are very lucky. Have a friend that lost the tip of his index finger while working on his mill. It was just one of those OH S*** things.

It is easy to get lulled into a mind set that makes us forget how sharp, fast, and powerful our tools are. I'm glad it was not worse. Remember thumbs are what separate us from dogs.
