This video clip just popped up on one of our "Down Under" car sites.
When I was a kid some 65 years ago, we had an Oliver tractor. 6 cylinder engine, smooth as silk runner compared to the coarse old Farmalls ,Allis Chalmers, MM Twin Citys and the like.
Our old green Oliver (a 47 model) was not as flash as this one.

That is pretty slick. Our old Case, Oliver, & Farmall were crank start and our implements were mostly converted from horse drawn. Then we got a new Model R John Deere diesel and the pony motor was electric start, the modern farmer. grin

I love the styling of Oliver tractors. Very art deco.

The dyno sheet shows the WOT A/F at 14:1. I wonder if that is accurate? Seems lean for WOT.

The whole deco look is great. The trains, tractors, cars, planes, and buildings of that time are easy to look at. I too always like the Olivers but the 1938 Minneapolis Moline UDLX is a sight to behold. cool

I can't seem to be able to find a picture of it but one of our local members has a IH Farmall with two 235s mounted inline. When it is pulling and wound to 4,500 rpm it is a mean machine. Maybe someone who was at the 2012 convention has a picture.
