The best gaskets I have found are BEST GASKETS. They are new and have not spent several decades drying on a shelf. The are made with modern materials. The rear seal comes with a tools to help trim it properly. The valve cover gasket if thicker than any I have ever seen. Patrick''s sells them and maybe some others. Thanks ! I have raced at Bonneville but not an inline. I raced a 235 in an old stock car at Loring, Maine, and went 116. I just got the 302 and I'm very excited. It looks good and I think I can make it run.

I go to Bonneville but have never raced there and probably wont. When I get my roadster on the road I want to replace the 270 in my pickup with a supercharged 302. Keep us posted on your progress.

The head is cracked. Didn't see it until I got all the rust off. Back to the drawing board. I'll keep working on the new 235 while looking for new parts for the 302. Now I need a head and a flywheel. .
