Hi All,
I have aquired a Carter 625 afb (#9635), which I am rebuilding for a new project. The carb "appears" to be in very good nick but is missing some major components , most of which is easy to get hold of, apart from a couple of items.....
I need the rod which connects to center of the choke flap (pictured). Is this available as a replacement part?
Also does anybody know the correct Edelbrock replacement part number for the accelerator pump. Can I use one from an Eddy 600?
I am used working to with the non - emission Edelbrock Afb's . This is an emissions type carb and has a couple of ports / vents that I am unsure of ( pictured) , what should these connect too? ( this car does not need to meet any emission requirements).
And last of all, how do i accurately check the throttle shaft for wear ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
