gearhead 1000 Post Club G Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 1,613 madison, wi	The bore of the 261 carb is about 1 11/16" where as the 235 is about 1 9/16". The venturi size is different also. You can continue to use the 235 sized carb if you have to. I.I. #3174
