hey, I got a couple of questions I have a 250 in my 66 truck right now and I about to swap in a 292 big six and I was wondering could I just run a competetion or not water heated manifold instead of a water heated?? I'm still learning on there in-line six motors cause I'm 17!

THanks,
MAtt!

Matt,

Go water heated. Period. Competition manifolds are cheaper and easier to find on Ebay, but daily driving will suck.

Put some heat under the manifold. If you want to read an in-depth explanation, go the post "292 engine temp due to bypass hose" down at the last response.
