I just acquired a 1950 Plymouth 3 passenger Coupe with a Chevy 6 in it. The person I got the car from was not the one that did the engine swap and he knows nothing about it.
I have been unable to find the casting number, but just to the left of the distributor I found the following number FO327PL. The head just above had either 20F 2710, 28F 2710, or 29F 2710. This is probably not much help, but the oil filter is a spin on type Fram PH30.
The car also has a power glide but I see no lines from the radiator back to it. The rear axle is also chevy.
Any help in determining what I have is very appreciated.
