62-67 194-230 Pans Are center sump pick-up. Were as the 250 oil pans are Rear Sump pick-up.
And any Block that has a Rear sump pick-up Would need to be Drilled for the Dip stick Or the Tube would need to be welded to the Oil Pan. A piece or Round Bar/stock and a small hammer will make enough of a dimple in the pan where the drag link Just barely rubs the oil pan. I have done this On many and I have Never Rubed through a Oil pan yet. The drag Link Mainly touchs the oil pan at Max. Turning. I have been working on making some notched oil pans for the ChevyII body with 250s
( like the V8 pans) But have not had time to finish. and to make 100%sure everything clears.
If you need a picture of the area That needs to be addressed Just Email me and I'll send you it.
NEVER make Mods to the Drag Link Or Tie rods.
