I have the opportunity to buy a 1955 235 engine & 3spd.man.trans to put in my 51 2dr.sedan/would that engine have hydraulic lifters and would that trans.be o.k. for cruise,n and occasional highway use?I,d probably go to an open rear end also.All help greatly appreciated.
