My buddie and I just got a 50 buick super running after is was sitting since the 70s. Motor runs real good but the power bug is ever present and me may have to add a power adder (nitrous). So this winter after all are summer cruising fun is over it may come apart for a freshing/strengthening. What is the piston deck height on a 263 piston? Is there a common v8 piston that is close enough to allow us to get some cheaper forged pistons for a 75 hp hit. Been looking for a 40-41 intake and carbs but no luck yet. Thanks

A guy on another board is using some custom Ross pistons in his 263. He goes by the name "Scotch". Checkout these threads for some of his posts:

If you contact Scotch he can send you the part number for the Ross pistons.
