When I'm home this weekend I'll try to remember to take a look at my 250. I'm pretty certain it has the same pattern you describe. Which would line up cause it's a '79. And just for knowledge the subframe I used to hold the 250 while I was working on it is now holding a '77 350 V8 and I didn't move the mounts around. So that 250 would be a direct swap for some V8's anyway. I wonder if the whole line (L6 and V8) changed mounting patterns sometime in there? Before '77 anyway. I'm not sure.
