Inliners International Forums General Discussion Engines Carb vacuum ports

Is there a better way to cap the unused vacuum ports on a carb? I am running three singles and don't need the ports on the end two carbs. I tried caps and hoses that are plugged, but they dry rot. Any other ideas will be appreciated.
