there is most definately a longer version of the bolt. i have one in my motor and in one on a stand. the standoff portion is almost 2" tall. i may be able to get one out of another xtra motor i have. it would not be difficult to make a piece to make up the difference on yours. here is a pic. click on it and you can zoom in and kinda see my type of bolt i am trying to describe.
