I have a 848 head that was rebuilt a few years ago and sat in storage since.
It looks like it was milled and the intake valve heads shaved to a smooth surface.

I want to put it on a stock late 235 block.
I have read a few times to use shims for the rocker arm assembly, the same amount as the head was milled.

Problem is I don't know how much the head was milled.
But with a stock block and pistons, do I have to worry about shimming the rockers at all?
