I'm no expert, but if your friend is going to run 6 carbs, he's going to need a lot of motor under them, like a radical cam, compression and porting (plus a 5000rpm launch speed!)
When he steps on it I think it just might fall on its' face!
Over-carburating a street engine is something I learned about a long time ago.
