Ford engineering had a 300 six that made over 600hp in the very early 70's. One of their engineers was also involved in a 300 six that raced in Windsor.I know he pulled the tach out of it cause the driver would let off on it when it hit 8000rpm. when it got wound up it sounded like a friggin jet.
