Good question. All my documentation suggests that the tailshaft housings will interchange, simply because all of the differences between WC and NWC versions (bearings, synchros, etc) are internal to the main transmission. But the only way to be totally positive is to check tailshaft housing part numbers, or do a trial fit. Both versions use ATF for lube, so seals should be compatible.
