Inliners International Forums General Discussion Drive Train I want to change the rear diff in my Maverick, any recomendations?

I swapped in an 8" (5lug) rear end from a 74 (250cid) Mav, into my 70 Mav. Bolted right up, 2.79 gear, but a lot stronger than the 7 1/4" stock rear. It's the same as the V8 version.
