Assuming you're referring to the later inline 6s you should be able to get away with the HD small block bellhousing - it has the 5 1/8" bearing retainer opening. The standard 4 speed bellhousing retainer bearing opening is about 1/2" smaller.
There may be other limitations that I'm not aware of.
