Thanks for the info on the 3 speed with od. I have the original tranny, 4 speed for my 53 3/4 ton, but not what I want to run long term. I want to be able to afford to drive this truck and I figured a saganaw 4 speed, or this 3 speed with over drive has got to be a better ride. My other option is a t-5 that I picked up for my 53 wagon which that project is on hold. Any Ideas on what is a good price for the 3 speed. Also how can I identify a overdrive tranny? This person started off with a price of 250.00 when I told himI could not afford that he said he would work with me because he had a truck bed full of different trannys and wants to get rid of them, but only had one 3 speed with overdrive. Any other info sure will be helpful.
