Rustyoldtruck Active BB Member R Joined: May 2004 Posts: 17 Utah	Hey Ed, The Chevrolet Truck Shop Manual for 1955 second series lists the "standared equipment" 3 speed gear ratios as 1st...2.94 to 1, 2nd...1.68 to 1, 3rd...1.00 to 1, reverse...2.94 to 1 Hope this helps.
