The original master cylinder will not work with disc as it has a residual valve and will not allow the disc brakes to release. As John said there is really no need for Power assist but a later non-power daul line master cylinder would be the way to go.Many of the "6" powered short bed Chevy trucks made 73-80 came with Dics/Drum and NO POWER assist.
