Jim mentioned something very important and something I wished I had paid more attention to with my swap. If you have at minimum 3:55 or lower gears you should be able to use your 5th/OD. My ratio was too low. The other thing you may not be aware of, depending on what your tranny came out of, how short 1st gear is going to feel compared to the 3 speed.
