This thread has helped answer some questions I have had about my rear. I've never been able to ID it up til now. I only know it's got a 4:56 ratio. I have wanted to change the ring and pinion to a 3:90, but if the carrier/pumpkin isn't removeable as Mike G says is a possibility, then I will have to start searching for another axle.
Any suggestions on what year truck will work on a 69 C-20?
