Thanks. I will likely use the early 60's SM420 and the 1952 Chevrolet truck bellhousing I already have for my '50 Chev 3100 project. Likely need to look at a rear ratio around 3.08 to get good hwy speeds with that combo (yes, it will have rebuilt suspension and front disc brakes).
Could go with a T5 to get OD but not sure if I like relocating the floor shift closer to the seat.
