You are correct in assuming that the Chambered Mufflers look like a glasspack but if you look inside, there is nothing in there. They are crimped to baffle the exhaust. If driven with a soft foot, they can be mellow, but as soon as you put your foot in it, they "open up" like they are suppose to. You do get an advantage with chambered mufflers as your flow restriction is low which means more torque and HP! I think it's money well spent if you're looking for power and that nostalgic sound.
