Even though it's not the most effecient rear end, having that drop out center section really makes it easy to change gears. Now that there is a center section that accepts Chevy gears, it's even better. I went ahead and bought a 35 spline spool and will shorten the housing when it gets here. Synthetic oil is a must and I've been researching cooling but don't want to get too complicated too soon. I'll look around locally for Glyptol first, then hit up Eastwood.
