I was figuring out the steering in my hot rod, and seeing as though it is right hand drive, I'm having trouble running the steering past the starter motor on a 58 bellbousing.
I also have a scattershield and was wondering if its worth using that instead.
I was wondering if some-one who has a Stovebolt Engine Co T350 setup could measure how far out from the side of the block the starter motor comes out.
If the starter solenoid is closer to the block, then the stock starter, then it may be wise for me to run the V8 scattershield for the extra clearance - not to mention the added security in the event of a clutch explosion.
