I made mine out of a oval aircleaner off of a mid 80's Ford Escort.

http://www.geocities.com/mustang_man_1966/inline_6_carburation.html It's the dual carb setup about halfway down the page. The top was aluminum so I just stripped the paint off it and gave it a good polish and the bottom I cut off and riveted a new piece of aluminum sheet to it.
Then I just cut the 2 carb hole openings and attached the dual snorkels to it.
Worked for me and was dirt cheap!!
