Ford is now offering an inline engine based on a Cosworth design. It is all-aluminum, has dual overhead cams, multi-port fuel injection and weighs about 200 pounds complete. This attached web link shows the European version, the 2.0 liter. The U.S. version is a 2.3 liter now being installed into the Ranger and Mazda trucks.
