The good message first: you only have to choke one carb if you have a heated intake.
when you remove the water/electric choke unit from the one carb there is a little hole for vacuum . Make sure to close that with a plug. Otherwise it drives you nuts when you try to tune them. (took me a complete weekend and a solid use of 4 letter words to find out)
