Hi
Which kind of cam I can use with original valve springs, 264 or 270 degrees? Engine is 250" GM.
Or should I use harder springs?

Hi ChevyVan,

Do yourself a huge favor and call Tom Langdon at Stovebolt Engineering. He will put you on the correct track as he has done hundreds of times. I got a 270 Wolverine cam from him and he includes heavier springs with the kit. Very reasonable too. Go with CompCams heavy duty stamped rockers. I had a stock one break on me after 500 miles. Be safe and do it correctly. You'll be glad you did.
