last summer i was lucky to have my car a 1967 chevy II given to me by my dad

it has a stock 250 with the rochester monojet carb and the 2 speed powerglide

i was wondering what could i do to give it a little more pull starting off right now its really slugish and sometime will stall out if you give it to much gas starting from a stop but everything is great when your moving.

Lots of things could make it sluggish when you gas it. Has it had a basic tuneup lately. If not... New cap, rotor, wires, plugs and set the dwell and timing. If that does not help I would be sure the accelerator pump is working on the carb. Look for any bad or unplugged vaccum lines also. Just some ideas.

Also a few other things to add to clydes list is fuel ,air filter. How many miles are on the carb. Meaning last time ever cleaned or maybe even rebuilt.and you can check to make sure the vac advance is working on the dist. may also check PVC valve. Just make sure everything is in working order & no leaks of any kinda Then we can go from there. Hope this helps. }[oooooo]
