There was a curved slot for the Alt tension adjuster, but this looked too high for the alt in its normal position. What's wrong with using a separate stand-off bracket for the alternator, and grinding the slot out of the bottom of the PS bracket if it's in the way?
I think there's also a 292 specific alternator bracket too.
