Well Put paul . I did think about that .I normaly buy mine as a full kit. But the 1 main thing is you do not need a high flowing lifter. The valve train doesn't need a flooding of oil even with roller rocker. I just didn't give it much thought about the hardness difference over a stock/aftermarket cams One would think they would be hardened the same. And Most all lifter are made by the same company They just have different Names to who are selling them. Becuase there are very Few different companys That make the lifters to start with. This is why for awhile It was hard to find any solid lifters for chevy. because they just were not being made. There is mort to this story as to why or what happened but i can not remember at this time.}[oooooo]
