Well...... I don't know about 500 ponies. what is that like 3 times it's naturally aspirated power rating? Could get ugly. Could be done, But I don't know....
However I have a 1981 Chevy El Camino with a OMC 165 boat motor (same as a 250 but with a touch more cam) in it running propane on 9 psi of turbo boost... the experiance is in a word exciting.
From 0-15 mph is pretty slow
About 20 mph the psi starts coming up abt at 5 psi it just sets you back in the seat.... and that is with 2.56 Gears
Should anyone want to direct flames this way I am prepared.
