Hey Inliners,
My first post!! For the last couple of years I have collecting various parts for my 67 250/inline Camaro. I'm ready to start building this summer. I have a Clifford 2x2v intake and the Holly/Weber carbs, found a set of .60 over pistons with cast rings, a 509 lift/224 dur/108 degree cam, set of split tube headers. I have a reconditioned head that has been milled just enough to check for warp, valve job, new springs. Not planning on any comp racing, just fun on the street. My questions- are the .60 over pistons good for the street or should I dial back to .30's?-should I go with the cast rings or upgrade to moly? There is a local shop that has experience removing the boss out of the intake port, is it woth the $ for a street car? Do I need stronger springs for this cam? I have enjoyed reading all your posts over last couple years, learned alot, looking forward to getting my inliner back on the road this fall.
