You wouldn't end up with a 250 by putting a 250 crank in a 194.The 194 can not take the bore. You can how ever use the 250 crank in a 230 and end up with a 250 The Bores are the same. Just the stroke between the 230 & 250 are different. You can use the 292 in the 250 to make a LOW deck 292 But you will also need to have custom pistons. the 307 pistons will not work with the 292 crank in a 250 block.
230s can use the 283 piston, were as the 250s can use the 307 pistons. The 194 head can be used on the 230s,250s, 292s to Raise the compression An depending on the pistons Used in anyone of the blocks will depend on what the compression Becomes.(how High)
