You should plan on a 261 engine if you want the stock/orginal look etc.
As mentioned It's easy to make one 200+ horsepower which is around twice what GM put in there.
All speed equipment you get for your 235 will fit one (head too) so there will bo no money waisted.
Shiping is a bit of a cost, but 'good things' don't come cheap.
