I believe they were used in the late 70's to 80's cars & trucks.
I weighed mine & it was 4-5 lbs ligheter than my older 1960's era cranks.
And ,yes, they do look different.
There are square sections of counter weights,??? gotta look at mine again to refresh my memory.
