I see what you are saying.
I am just trying to compare it to my Syclone truck when I pulled the front driveshaft out.

If my rear brakes can hold,,, I can boost @ 2-18 psi right off the start.
That is the trick you can do to get boost off the line & really launch hard.
It is much easier to boost an auto trans compared to a manual trans car.

My (stock) torque converter stalls to 2100 RPM ,no matter what boost I go to.
It would be a lot easier to launch if I had a higher stall converter of 2400-2600 RPM

With the front driveshaft in,,, I normally run 1.78-1.84 seconds 0-60'on street tires @ a track altitude of 3200 ft.
The trans it has is a 700R4 w/a lock-up converter.
