I have been doing a lot of research. I believe that I want to use my existing manifold, and add a carb adapter from "Clifford Research" (part #08-1013) that will allow me to mount a Holley large base 350 CFM 2-barrel carb.
Questions

1. Since this is a two barrel do I mount the carb in the same direction that I would if I was mounting it on a V-8 manifold? Or does it go sideways?
2.) Regardless of which way it goes, I am assuming that due to the difference between this carb and my single OEM barrel one that I will have to use different throttle linkage.
I have looked at Jeff Halton's article on "Throttle Linkage for Inlines." I can tell that he used some additional items.
I am thinking of ordering the linkage kit from StoveBolt and trying to see if I can fabricate from that what I need.
Any insight would be appreciated.
