I really like the Holley/Weber 5200 two stage 2 barrel. My experience has been that you need to jet it up quite a bit to get good top end performance, but you can get away with a hellacious jet on the secondary and still use something not so wild on the primary. Right now I have a 140 on the primary and a jet I ran a 1/16" drill bit through on the secondary. I'm getting a kit soon so I can set up everything just right. Now here's an important consideration for many of us: a weber from Langdon's is $65, adapter $15, jet kit from Carb.Net $50, couple junk yard carbs for parts $20: now you have a lot to play with and you've only spent $150. These carbs PERFORM, cold, hot, in between; they work.
