Inliners International Forums General Discussion Hi Performance 65 chevy p/u and a 390 CFM Holley?

It's time for the Rochester 1bbl. to come out from under the hood. I'm interested in a slightly hotter setup than the average. Any luck with the Holley 390 4barrel? Any other advice on a good carb to mate to the 'ol six? ~j

Adding a head with 'lump ports' & other work, along with headers would do that.

A 390 is fine,so is an Edlebrock 500 4 BBL carb.
If it is a 250 CI engine,or smaller,or for a truck,an Offy intake will work good.

A 500 CFM two barrel works fine.

Not sure if you want to install another camshaft?? Stock cam is pretty weak.
