Dodgeflat6, for all practicle purposes you are correct, but for historicle accuracy it should be noted that FM broadcast goes back to the '30. It was a broadcast war between two of the radio giants of that time, there was an excellent program about it on PBS. I have never seen an FM radio in a 6 volt car, but would never say there wasn't any such critter.
