Can't sleep; I retroed the HEI but now I don't get any spark, what am I forgetting?
New cap, rotor button, coil, ignition module
I've got 11.6v going in at the Bat on the cap terminal. Could it be the pickup coil or maybe not grounded good? Is it usually grounded through the collar at the engine?Guess I'll check both tomorrow.

thanks
David

There are two connections on the cap, and they are marked, one for Tach and the other for 12 volts. Make sure you have these correct, they do not interchange. I've been there. IF not that then remove the cap from the coil and make sure there are no broken connections.

OK I got it. Had 11.6v with key on but as I was cranking motor it was dropping to 7.2v.
Hard to check this without a remote starter;
good excuse to go look for one now.

thanks
David
