Hi Guys. With the .060 over 292 that I'm building for my '64 Suburban, is it possible to use a V8 vibration damper in place of my buggered stock one? I checked the dimensions and it looks like if one shortened the snout on the lathe, it would be the same dimension as the stock one. The trouble is the weight is a lot larger. The accessory drive difference can be dealt with. I know you are able to buy a new one, but there are lots of good used 305 etc ones out there. My concern is about whether or not the engine harmonics will be effected. The engine has a mild cam, 350 2bbl, header, .060 off the head and won't rev over 5000. Thanks a lot.
