Anyone out there got any tips on how to really wipe out mold..I mean in the interior metal..Will a good primer really seal it after using say.. bleach to kill it..Some molds seem to leave an odor that just won't go away..I suppose any paint won't get into all the cracks etc so a solution of some kind will probably be needed..Thanks..Al..

talk to your local air conditioning company and get thier recommendation on chemicals they use to kill molds in ventilation systems. Yes, bleach will kill it, but the chlorine helps to rot the metal if you don't do it right.

Ther's an enamel called Kilz on the market for house painting. They sell it at Home Despot. I have no idea if it has any contraindications for an automotive application. It's a white flat brush-on (latex?) Might work. Sounds like what you're after.
