Gentlemen;
In the 50s when 'Hot Roding' began, only "cheap charlie" or the really fast guys left their cars in primer.
The 'really fast' crowd put all their $ into the engine and all the T & Ds that didn't last. "cheap charlie" only could afford a spray can and sat on "penny pincher hill" by the drags, cause he didn't have ticket either.
I got a job cleaning up at a Body Shop & painted mine almost free.
How times have changed.
